I am an artist, designer, and storyteller. I am enamored with the natural world — its rhythms and patterns. I am fascinated by the fluctuation of light shifting across the landscape. Whether it’s the silhouette of trees across the sunset sky or stars in the pre-dawn darkness, I find story in the natural world. No matter the subject, or composition, my artwork speaks to me as landscape. My creative practice is a constant exploration of place, and mine in it.

I am curious about all things ancient and how we connect to myth, our ancestors and the unseen world of spirit and imagination.

I believe that art and a creative practice are good medicine and can lead to good health. Art provides a place to connect, to build community and to find solace. I hope that my offerings will promote well-being and a bit of magic in those who encounter them.

I mainly work in gouache, soft-pastels, and graphite. I love the immediacy of mark-making especially works on paper. But my creative practice is not limited to any one recipe; I can easily begin a love affair with acrylics, oil pastels, collage and found materials.

My digital design work includes illustration and magazine layout, also large public installations.

When I’m not in the studio or working on a design project, you can find me at home, kayaking the waters of Florida, at the beach, or taking long walks among the live oak trees.
